For over four decades, the company has grown from strength to strength into the leading position in the health care industry.

The Ciron team, headed by able and experienced managers, comprises over 50 well-qualified technical personnel and 200 workmen - all dedicated to delivering the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction.

Future Initiatives
At Ciron, we have always adopted a pioneering approach to our business operations. We have consistently invested resources in augmenting our capabilities in terms of machinery & manpower. Over 40% of our annual profits are used to enhance our productivity & profitability. To this end, in 2001, we renovated our manufacturing plant and adopted GMP. Through routine training programmes, we also work to enhance the skills and capabilities of our personnel to help them meet the coming challenges of the future.

CIRON is a leading Pharmaceutical Formulations manufacturers since 1966 with a variety of business interests. We have been manufacturing and exporting Pharmaceutical products such as antibiotics, generic formulations, liquid orals and dietary supplements.

We only use high-grade whole vitamins and highly absorb-able nutrients are used in all of our operations. We supply all formulations in the various permitted/suitable dosages and the required pack sizes in various forms such as small volume liquid parentals, dry powder injectables, tablets (uncoated, sugar coated, enteric coated, film coated, chewable, lozenges, sustained release and dispersible forms), capsules, dry syrups, liquid orals, sterile eye drops and ear drops and topical lotions for external applications.

Our manufacturing operations are carried out under the most controlled of environments where quality is a prized ideal. With cutting edge machinery & excellent quality control, we work to ensure that manufacturing is carried out in a safe and reliable manner.

With comprehensive systems and specialized departments for various stages such as Production, Research & Development and Marketing, we ensure that quality is never compromised at any stage of operations.

We possess two fully automated & independently owned - cutting edge production units, managed by experienced and dedicated production and quality control staff. Our manufacturing facilities have been certified as being compliant with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Standards followed by CIRON Plants; WHO GMP norms laid down by the World Health Organization, as well as cGMP norms laid down in the "Revised Schedule M" by the Drug Controller (General) India, Ministry of Health, Government of India.

Some of the highlights of our manufacturing facilities include:

• Dispensing of materials under an SS reverse laminar flow.
• Separate air handling units for every production departments, in addition to air conditioning with 3 micron filtration to ensure absolute product purity.
• Individual compression and coating cabins with separate air handling units to avoid cross contamination.
• Well equipped Quality Control Laboratory with modular furniture including H.P.L.C. Microbiology & Sterility area under class 10,000.
• Separate double skin AHV's for vial/ampoule washing, sterilization, bufferzone and airlocks, filling areas confirming to class D, C, & B.
• Separate AHV for powder filling area.
• State of art vial / plastic dropper filling / sealing line for untouched operation.
• Visual inspection of ampoules with semi automatic inspection of machines
• Demineralisation Plant and SS 316L pipeline in loop form with a 5 micron filter and UV lamp for absolute purity of water
• Extensive training and retraining of personnel to ensure they stay current with latest technological developments.
• Alternative power generation system for uninterrupted production.
• A unidirectional flow of men and materials to promote optimum productivity
• Accessibility of all utilities and maintenance areas from outside, for additional ease of operation.
• Ample segregated storage for raw materials and packaging materials, with a quarantine facility

R&D
Research and development have been an integral element of our business operations. Through constant innovation , we have enhanced the quality of our existing range and developed new and improved formulations.

We have an independently run R & D department, staffed by qualified chemists who are involved in a range of research & development efforts, ranging from the development of new product applications to upgradation of formulation efficacy with a view to improving drug delivery systems.

We have a full-fledged Microbiological Laboratory, equipped with the ultramodern equipment, that conducts routine and in-depth microbiological testing procedures, in order to establish product protocols and in order to validate sterilization processes. We conduct in-depth tests to assess raw materials, as well as bulk and finished formulations. Also, there is a consistent microbiological monitoring of working procedures in process areas and microbiological analysis of products. We look to enhancing the quality of our products with a view to securing our future growth.

We offer our R&D facilities on contractual basis to customers.

Packaging
Packaging is a critical element in any pharmaceutical product. The packaging of products have to take into account multiple variables from transit to weather & time. At Ciron, our approach to quality covers every aspect of packaging ensuring that our products maintain their safety, reliability, stability & integrity long after they have left our production line. Our use of packaging materials and application of processes conform to all relevant international standards, with regard to a host of critical parameters, such as

Our in-house design team ensure that every pack that we create bears the hallmarks of contemporary, classy styling. We take care of the twin aspects of aesthetics & clarity that are vital to pharma packaging. We also pay significant attention to storage requirements with separate reserved areas for various packaging materials such as aluminum and PVC foils and ensure that they are stored always at optimum temperatures.

Our expertise in the pharmaceutical industry has been augmented through our WHO-GMP certified production capabilities, highly qualified production & quality control staff. With highly integrated production facilities comes the capability to manage a flexible production line. This empower us with the capability to undertake contract manufacturing projects.

As a privately-owned and fully independent pharmaceutical formulation company, we offer flexible terms of trade with individual attention to each customer. We solve the challenges of working with an extended design chain so as to facilitate a productive & profitable outsourcing partnership for our customers.

We capture and process all the product definitions provided by customers information through a secure online environment that makes a convenient setting for sharing information. Secure and easy, this system allows for customers to easily share information internally. Also, we invite partners and suppliers to view work with information-with as many access barriers as they choose to keep.

We work to the most complex of customer requirements & provide some of the most competitive rates in the industry. We also offer our products on a third party basis and provide private labeling arrangements for export.
